    Phagwara: Bike-Borne Robbers Injure 13-Year-Old Boy, Snatch Motorcycle and iPhone

    In Phagwara, Kapurthala district, near Jalandhar, three motorcycle-borne robbers attacked a 13-year-old boy and stole his motorcycle and Apple mobile phone. When the boy resisted, they attacked him with a sharp weapon, injuring him. However, onlookers caught one of the robbers after hearing the commotion.

    This incident, which occurred in a densely populated area, has raised questions about the police’s claims. They say that thieves, robbers, and drug addicts have lost their fear of the Punjab Police.

    They are not afraid to commit crimes in densely populated villages. They ask, “Can’t children in our village even leave their homes now?”

    Attack While Boy Was Heading to Cattle Shed

    While the child was walking from his home to the mansion, the accused arrived on a bike and attempted to rob him. When the minor refused to let go of the motorcycle, the accused attacked him with a sharp weapon, injuring him on the head. They fled with the iPhone and the motorcycle.

    A 13-year-old boy was leaving home to go to the animal mansion.

    His brother Bharat told the police that his uncle’s son was going from his house to his cattle shed. Three motorcycle-riding robbers started following him.

    When he reached a turn in the village, they stopped him and snatched his iPhone. Then they were trying to snatch his motorcycle. When he resisted, the robbers attacked him with an axe on his head, injuring him.

    Villagers Catch One Accused, Public Anger Erupts

    After the injured child started shouting, people caught the robbers.

    He said that when the injured boy raised an alarm, people nearby chased and caught one of the robbers, beat him, stripped him naked and paraded him through the village.

    The incident was reported to the Sadar police station, and the arrested accused was subsequently taken into custody.

    Bharat said that thieves, robbers, and drug addicts have lost their fear of the Punjab Police. They are not afraid to commit crimes in the densely populated village. He asked, “Can’t children in our village even leave their homes now?”

    Police Assure Swift Arrests and Recovery

    Sadar SHO said that the accused will be arrested soon.

    The injured child has been admitted to Phagwara Hospital for treatment, where his condition is reported to be stable. The Sadar Police Station SHO stated that an FIR will be filed against the accused and action will be taken.

    After questioning the arrested accused, the remaining two absconding accomplices will be arrested soon. Police claim that the stolen motorcycle and mobile phone will also be recovered soon.
