Pharma Entrepreneur M.K. Bhatia Gifts Cars to Employees for Third Consecutive Diwali

Chandigarh: In a remarkable Diwali gesture, MITS Healthcare, a Chandigarh-based pharmaceutical company, gifted cars to 51 employees, making it the first company in the city to do so.

The vehicles were distributed based on rank, with top-performing employees receiving SUVs.

A CEO Who Believes in Sharing Success

Company owner M.K. Bhatia, who personally handed over the car keys to his staff, said he takes immense joy in helping his employees achieve their dreams.

“We want to get our employees off autos and into cars,” said M.K. Bhatia, CEO of MITS Healthcare. “All employees work with passion, so it’s our responsibility to fulfill their dreams.”

Bhatia revealed that he has been gifting cars for the past three years — 25 in the last two years, including 13 last Diwali.

From Bankruptcy to Building 12 Companies

Bhatia’s journey is one of resilience and inspiration. Originally from Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh, he once ran a medical store that went bankrupt in 2002, leaving him with debts running into crores.

In 2015, he moved to Chandigarh and started MITS Healthcare. Today, he successfully operates 12 companies under his leadership.

A Tradition of Employee Gratitude

This Diwali’s car distribution marks yet another milestone in Bhatia’s unique tradition of rewarding dedication and loyalty. Unlike in the past, the cars are now registered directly in the employees’ names, reflecting his commitment to their personal growth.

So far, over 100 employees have received cars from him.

Success Brings New Challenges

While the car giveaways have delighted staff, they’ve also created a parking crunch near the company’s offices in Panchkula and Chandigarh.

“Now, there’s a parking problem near the office. Work is underway to address this issue as well,” Bhatia said with a smile.
