Pickup Driver Loses Hand After Trailer Collision, Accused Flees Scene

A pickup truck driver was seriously injured in a road accident on the Banswara-Dahod highway on Saturday night. The speeding trailer between Leo Circle and Kupra Bridge hit the pickup hard. The collision was so severe that one of the pickup driver’s hands was amputated. The driver fled the spot after the accident.

Accused trailer driver fled after collision

According to the information, Harisingh, a resident of Palsana (Sikar), was another accomplice in the pickup along with son Jagdish Prasad. During this time, the trailer hit the pickup on the Banswara-Dahod highway. After the collision, the trailer driver did not stop at the spot and fled with the vehicle, which also made it difficult for the injured driver to get immediate help.

Information received at 12 o’clock in the night, the pickup was found damaged.

Sadar police station ASI Dashrath Singh said – The police received information about the accident at around 12 o’clock in the night. As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot with Jabte. The pickup vehicle was found in a badly damaged condition at the scene. In the accident, one of the pickup driver’s hands was cut off from the side.

Search for absconding trailer driver, no report yet filed

According to the police, no clue has been found about the trailer and its driver yet. An investigation has been started in the case and a search is on for the absconding driver. At the same time, no report has been filed by any party regarding the incident so far.
