The accused were working for Jaggu Bhagwapuria
Preliminary investigations have revealed that the arrested accused are close associates of the notorious Jaggu Bhagwapuria gang and procured these weapons from Madhya Pradesh. The accused were supplying these weapons to criminal gangs operating in Punjab.
A case has been registered in this regard at the Rama Mandi police station. Police are now conducting further investigations to fully trace the forward and backward links of this supply network. DGP Gaurav Yadav said, “Punjab Police teams are working to eliminate organized crime in the state and dismantle the illegal arms supply chain.”
