PM Modi Congratulates FM Sitharaman, calls Budget guarantee of ‘Developed India’

New Delhi: After the presentation of interim budget by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared his remarks on the interim budget. PM said that today’s budget is a guarantee to strengthen the very foundations of Developed India by 2047. He congratulated Finance Nirmala Sitharaman and her team.

Calling the budget inclusive and innovative, PM said, “It will empower all 4 pillars of Viksit Bharat- Yuva, Garib, Mahila and Kisan.”

PM Modi further said, “This budget has a reflection of the young aspirations of a young India. Two important decisions were made within the Budget. For research and innovation, a fund of Rs 1 Lakh Crore has been announced whereas on the other hand, The historic amplification in capital expenditure to the tune of Rs. 11,11,111 crore has also been ensured.”

PM said that the union government has built over 4 crore houses for the poor in villages and cities, and now have set a target of building 2 crore more houses in the coming time.
