PM Modi has achieved this feat by serving as head of government for a total of 8,931 days. This includes his tenures as Chief Minister of Gujarat and Prime Minister of India.

Breaks Former Sikkim CM’s Record
He has surpassed the record of 8,930 days held by former Sikkim Chief Minister Pawan Kumar Chamling and is now leading in his 25th year.

A Long Journey from Gujarat to Delhi
Narendra Modi took office as the Chief Minister of Gujarat on October 7, 2001, and served in that position until 2014. Subsequently, on May 26, 2014, he was sworn in as the 14th Prime Minister of India and returned to power by winning three consecutive Lok Sabha elections.
