PM Modi Makes 6 Major Promises for Bengal, Announces Reopening of Rape Cases

Kolkata: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday announced six major promises to the people of the state ahead of the West Bengal Assembly elections. He emphasized law and order, transparent governance, and strict action against corruption.

Emphasis on Restoring Law and Order and Trust
The Prime Minister said that if a BJP government is formed, it will eliminate the atmosphere of fear and create an environment of trust and strengthen public confidence in the rule of law. The administration will also be made fully accountable and transparent.

Rape Cases and Scams to Be Reinvestigated
PM Modi said that all cases of corruption, scams, crimes against women, and rape will be reopened and investigated. He also clarified that strict legal action will be taken against those found guilty, regardless of their position or status.

Rights for Refugees, Implementation of the 7th Pay Commission
He stated that refugees would be granted constitutional rights, while illegal immigrants would be identified and expelled from the country. Furthermore, he promised to immediately implement the 7th Pay Commission if the BJP forms the government.

These announcements are being considered part of the BJP’s strategy for the upcoming elections.
