    Positive Things from Changing India

Often, when we talk about our country, we are confronted with details of its shortcomings, flaws, and shortcomings. Even after celebrating the Amrit Mahotsav of Independence, the flaws continue to demand solutions. However, it would be wrong to say that nothing good has happened in India in these years. Much good has happened. Women confined to their homes, along with their partners, have joined the struggle for life, taken up jobs, are studying, and are proving their mettle in competitions against men. Many changes have taken place among the women of our country.

Recently, news has come from some panchayats in Jharkhand that women from five villages have become self-reliant and have enforced prohibition of alcohol in their villages. They have put an end to domestic violence. Wherever women and their male partners have moved forward with honesty, the condition of schools has improved, and the number of children dropping out has decreased. Not all government schemes fail. In particular, schemes promoting employment have shown some positive results.

If there is honesty and improved intentions, the path will become easier for young people seeking self-employment. In some village panchayats, it has been observed that women have become aware and come to study with their children in their arms. Surveys show that villages are changing. Women have significantly improved their education attainment rates and are beginning to see it as their right.

This awakening came to cities before villages. In cities, the attitude of a girl child was considered a misfortune, and at the height of conservative thinking, daughters were killed at birth. Now, girls have progressed so much that they are no less than men in terms of education and employment. Even today, some incidents occur, but these are signs of mental illness.

A positive thing that has been observed recently is that the young generation, not only globally but also in India, has awakened.

Now, the youth are learning to stand up for what is right. To this end, thousands of young people can gather and protest. Recently, the central government’s decision regarding Punjab University, Chandigarh, was reversed by the vocal opposition of the youth. It can be said that not all opposition is necessarily harmful. If the youth’s opposition is not directionless but directed in the right direction, it will not take long for the country to be reborn.
