Potato-Laden Trolley Overturns Near PAP Chowk in Jalandhar, No Injuries Reported

An uncontrolled trolley loaded with potatoes overturned near PAP Chowk in Jalandhar. The trolley was traveling from Kartarpur to Qadian when it suddenly lost balance and overturned on the road. Fortunately, the two young men on the trolley, Manvinder and Happy (Harry), were safe and unharmed. Police personnel arrived at the scene and immediately brought the situation under control and helped restore smooth traffic flow.

Accident Occurred While Taking a Turn

The incident occurred when a trolley loaded with potatoes belonging to Harjaap Singh Sangha was traveling from Kartarpur to Qadian. As the trolley approached PAP Chowk, it suddenly lost control while negotiating a turn. Due to the heavy load and the sharp turn, the driver lost control of the trolley, and it overturned in the middle of the road.

Police Respond Swiftly to Control Situation

ASI Karnail Singh and his colleague, Head Constable Anil Kumar, who were on duty in the area, said they were patrolling when they received information about the accident near PAP Chowk. The police team immediately reached the spot and assessed the situation. While the potatoes scattered on the road caused some traffic disruption, the police quickly brought the situation under control.

Riders Escape Unhurt, Traffic Restored

The trolley riders who narrowly escaped were two young men, identified as Manvinder and Happy (Harry). According to eyewitnesses and police, both were completely safe despite the trolley overturning. It is a major relief that no other vehicles were hit, considering the busy nature of the area.

Goods Shifted, Road Cleared Promptly

Immediately after the accident, the drivers informed the owner about the incident. A second trolley was called to the spot, and the scattered potatoes are now being reloaded for transportation to their destination. The police administration ensured that all goods remained safe and that the road was cleared quickly to restore normal traffic movement.
