Prayagraj: Ashutosh Maharaj attacked on a train, saved his life by hiding in the toilet

Prayagraj: Ashutosh Brahmachari Maharaj, who filed a sexual harassment case against Shankaracharya Swami Avimukteshwarananda Saraswati in Prayagraj, was attacked in a sensational attack. He alleged that a young man attacked him between Fatehpur and Kaushambi while traveling on the Rewa Express train.

Suffered multiple injuries, underwent medical treatment at the hospital
Ashutosh Maharaj somehow saved his life by locking himself in the train toilet. He sustained multiple injuries in the attack. After reaching Prayagraj, he was admitted to Colvin Hospital and received medical treatment.

Names of other conspirators, including Avimukteshwarananda, behind the attack
In his statement, Ashutosh Maharaj named Shankaracharya Swami Avimukteshwarananda and others as the conspirators behind the attack. According to him, this attack may be related to his advocacy of cases related to sexual exploitation and the Mathura Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi dispute in the High Court.

Ashutosh Maharaj was coming to the High Court to plead two cases
Ashutosh Maharaj had come to the Allahabad High Court on March 12th to file a reply in the Mathura Janmabhoomi dispute case and the sexual exploitation case against Avimukteshwarananda. He was traveling in the H-1 coach of the Rewa Express to plead both cases when the incident occurred.
