Preity Zinta, Priyansh Arya Check on Injured Fan, Promise Helmet

Mohali: Punjab Kings Co-Owner Preity Zinta and opener Priyansh Arya reached out to Krishan Chand, a 62-year-old spectator injured during the Punjab Kings vs Lucknow Super Giants match on April 19 at the New International Cricket Stadium, New Chandigarh.

The incident occurred when a six hit by Arya struck the fan on the face, causing bleeding. He was given immediate medical attention and later taken to a clinic, where he received stitches.

Video Call to Check on Recovery
Upon learning about the incident, Preity Zinta and Priyansh Arya connected with Krishan Chand through a video call to personally check on his health. Ashish Tuli, General Manager – Cricket Operations at Punjab Kings, also joined the call, showing the team’s concern for the fan.

Special Invitation and Helmet Promise
During the interaction, the duo invited Krishan Chand to watch a future match at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium in Dharamshala. Preity Zinta also promised to arrange a helmet for him so he can safely enjoy the game on his next visit.

Fan Recovering, Team Extends Support
Krishan Chand is currently stable and recovering well. Punjab Kings wished him a speedy recovery and expressed their eagerness to welcome him back to the stadium soon.
