On Saturday morning, a private bus overturned uncontrollably on the Chandigarh-Shimla four-lane highway. Two people were injured in this. The injured are undergoing treatment at Solan hospital. The police have registered a case and started an investigation.
According to information, the private bus was going from Solan to Shimla. About 10 kilometers from Solan, near Salogda, the driver lost control of the vehicle, causing the bus to overturn on the road.
The uncontrollable bus broke the parapet and reached from one lane to the other. Fortunately, no vehicle was passing on that lane at that time. A major accident was thus averted.
After the accident, local people immediately arrived at the site and engaged in relief and rescue work. In this accident, the bus driver and one passenger were injured, both of whom have been admitted to the Solan Regional Hospital.
There were 10 to 12 passengers
At the time of the accident, there were 10 to 12 passengers on the bus. The police have begun investigating the causes of the accident. Preliminary investigations indicate that the accident occurred due to the driver losing control of the vehicle.
Himanshu Dubey, the manager of the company constructing the four-lane road, also reached the site with his team and assisted in the relief efforts. The accident caused traffic on the road to be affected for some time, which was later normalized with the help of the police and local people.
