Priyanka Chopra Shares Adorable Moment of Malti Marie Hugging Nick Jonas, Calls Them Her ‘Whole World’

Mumbai: Priyanka Chopra Jonas gave fans a glimpse of a sweet family moment on Karwa Chauth, sharing a picture of her daughter Malti Marie hugging her father, Nick Jonas, as he returned home.

Sharing the picture on her social media story, Priyanka showed Nick holding Malti close while the father-daughter duo sat together at home. “Daddy’s home! My whole world in one frame.. happy karwachauth,” she wrote.

The actress also gave her followers a look at her Karwa Chauth preparations. She shared a picture of her mehendi-covered palm, dedicated to her husband, and wrote, “Piya ke naam ki.. happy karwachauth to all those celebrating.”

In another story, Priyanka showed her mehendi up close and spoke about the traditional practice of applying sugar syrup to deepen its colour. “The question is, will the chashni work? IYKYK,” she wrote.

Priyanka and Nick Keep Indian Traditions Alive at Home

Priyanka has often shared moments of Malti learning about Indian culture and traditions while growing up in the United States.

Earlier this month, the family celebrated Dussehra at their Los Angeles home with traditional rituals, including puja, Shivling abhishek, havan and Kanya Pujan.

One moment that caught attention was Nick washing Malti’s feet as part of the ritual. Malti was dressed in an ivory traditional outfit and wore a red scarf bearing the words ‘Jai Mata Di’.

Priyanka has also been introducing her daughter to Sanskrit prayers. In a video shared earlier, the actress was seen helping Malti recite the shloka “Sarva Mangala Mangalye…” from the Durga Saptashati.

Priyanka and Nick married in December 2018 in Jodhpur, with Christian and Hindu wedding ceremonies. The couple welcomed their daughter, Malti Marie, via surrogacy in January 2022.
