‘Psycho’ Thief Targets Women’s Innerwear in Karnataka Town

Koppal (Karnataka) – Police have launched a manhunt for a suspect involved in a series of unusual thefts targeting women’s innerwear in Gangavathi town. The incidents, reported over the past few days, have caused चिंता among local residents.

CCTV footage from the area has captured the suspect carrying out the thefts, and the visuals have since gone viral on social media.

Accused Entered Homes at Night
According to preliminary investigations, the unidentified man entered residential premises at night by scaling compound walls and specifically targeted women’s inner garments. Most of the incidents were reported from the CBS locality, a prominent residential area in the town.

Residents said the thefts have been occurring for the last three to four days, leading to growing fear among women regarding safety and privacy.

Police Probe Underway
Police have registered the case and are working to identify and nab the accused. Officials said further investigation is underway and security measures in the area are being reviewed.

Similar Incidents Reported Earlier
Police also recalled similar bizarre cases in Karnataka, including an arrest in Bengaluru where a man was found wearing women’s innerwear in public, and another case in Hubballi involving theft of garments from clotheslines.

Authorities have urged residents to remain alert as efforts continue to track down the suspect.
