Punjab AGTF Arrests Gangster Ranjit Singh in Bathinda, Recovers Pistol

Bathinda, Nov 1: In a major breakthrough, the Anti-Gangster Task Force (AGTF), Punjab, in a joint operation with Bathinda Police, has apprehended notorious gangster Ranjit Singh, a resident of Bangi Nihal Singh village. Authorities recovered an illegal .32 bore pistol along with four live cartridges from his possession.

Criminal Ties and Past Offences

Preliminary investigations reveal that Ranjit Singh is a close associate of gangster Rammi Machana and was wanted in two criminal cases.

Earlier, police had recovered 130 grams of heroin, a 9 mm country-made pistol with six live cartridges, and a 12-bore country-made pistol from his residence. While his mother, Paramjit Kaur, was arrested in that case, Ranjit Singh had managed to flee.
