    Punjab BJP Appoints Senior Leaders to Assess Flood-Affected Districts

    Chandigarh: Punjab BJP president Kewal Singh Dhillon has taken a big step and appointed senior party leaders to take stock of the districts affected by the floods last year. According to a letter issued by the party’s state general secretary Rakesh Rathore, these leaders will visit the areas that were most affected by the floods.

    The letter also said that the presidents of the respective districts will be present with all the leaders.

    Senior Leaders Assigned District-Wise Responsibilities

    According to the letter, Ashwani Sharma has been given the responsibility of Gurdaspur, Fatehjang Singh Bajwa has been given the responsibility of Amritsar, Shwet Malik has been given the responsibility of Pathankot, Surjit Jyani has been given the responsibility of Ferozepur, Sunil Jakhar has been given the responsibility of Fazilka, Sushil Rinku has been given the responsibility of Abohar, Avinash Rai Khanna has been given the responsibility of Jalandhar, Jangi Lal Mahajan has been given the responsibility of Hoshiarpur, Vijay Sampla has been given the responsibility of Rupnagar, and Iqbal Singh Lalpura has been given the responsibility of S. A. S. Nagar.

    District Presidents to Accompany Visiting Teams

    According to the party’s letter, the presidents of the respective BJP district units will remain present with the assigned senior leaders during their visits to the flood-affected areas to assess the ground situation.
