Punjab Cabinet Reshuffle: Harpal Cheema given Transport dept, Jail Dept to Dr Ravjot Singh

A major reshuffle has been made in the Punjab Cabinet. According to the information received, Finance Minister Harpal Cheema has been given the Transport Department.

Apart from  Harpal Cheema, Dr. Ravjot Singh has been given charge of the Jail department.

Shuffle after Laljit Singh Bhullar’s resignation 

Let us tell you that Laljit Singh Bhullar resigned from the post after the controversy in the case of the death of DM Gagandeep Singh Randhawa. Both these departments were with Laljit Singh Bhullar, and now charges are transferred to Ministers Harpal Cheema and Dr Ravjot Singh.

DM Gagandeep Randhawa Suicide 

Let us tell you that DM Gagandeep Singh Randhawa of Punjab Warehouse Corporation committed suicide by swallowing sulphas. Before dying, Gagandeep Singh Randhawa had made a video in which he had said that Laljit Singh Bhullar was responsible for his death.

He said that Laljit Singh Bhullar was pressurizing him. He wanted to get tenders for his close friends. However, after this matter, Cabinet Minister Laljit Singh Bhullar resigned.

After the matter escalated a lot, Laljit Singh Bhullar was also arrested by the police. He is to be produced in court today. On the other hand, after Bhullar’s arrest, the family has conducted a postmortem of Gagandeep Singh Randhawa. This postmortem has also been videographed. The DM will be cremated in Amritsar today.
