Fog, Cold Nights Expected in Punjab-Chandigarh; AQI Continue To Rise

Chandigarh: Nights are set to be cold in Punjab and Chandigarh. According to the Meteorological Department, the minimum temperature will drop by 2 to 3 degrees Celsius in the next four days. Light fog may also occur in some areas, although there is no possibility of rain or any other weather warning for the next seven days.

The weather in the state will remain dry.

In the last 24 hours, the average maximum temperature of Punjab has decreased by 1.1 degrees, bringing it closer to normal. The highest temperature in the state was recorded in Bathinda at 27.9 degrees Celsius.

Weather forecast for the coming days

According to the Meteorological Department, there is no possibility of rain on November 27.

The maximum temperature in the northern and eastern districts of the state will be between 22-24 degrees Celsius.

In the remaining districts, it may reach 24-26 degrees Celsius.

The daytime temperature is expected to remain normal or slightly below normal throughout the week. Night temperatures are also likely to drop significantly.

The northwestern districts – Gurdaspur, Pathankot, Amritsar, Tarn Taran, Ferozepur and Fazilka – are expected to experience temperatures ranging from 4 to 6 degrees Celsius.

Other districts will see temperatures ranging from 6 to 8 degrees Celsius.

The minimum temperature in most areas will be below normal, while in some central and eastern districts it may remain near normal. The sky is expected to remain clear on the Delhi-Ambala and Ambala-Amritsar highways.
