Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann Pays Tribute to Mahatma Gandhi in Tokyo During Japan Visit

Tokyo: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann is on Japan visit. He arrived in Tokyo on a 10-day visit to promote business investment. During this visit, Minister Mann paid tribute to the great freedom fighter by laying flowers at the statue of Mahatma Gandhi in Tokyo’s Gandhi Park.

Meetings with Japanese Industrialists

Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann will also meet with prominent Japanese industrialists and institutions during this visit. According to his schedule, today he will meet with representatives of the Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC). Following this, he will discuss industrial investment and cooperation in Punjab with senior officials from Aisan Industries, Yamaha Motor, and Honda Motor.

Interaction with Japanese Government Officials

During this visit, Minister Mann will also meet with Komori Takuo, Minister of Industry of the Japanese Government, and discuss technical cooperation and new investment opportunities with senior officials from Fujitsu Limited.

Minister Mann also plans to interact with Japanese industry and government representatives and extend an invitation to the Progressive Summit to be held in Mohali in March 2026.

Government Team Accompanies CM Mann

The visit is being undertaken by Minister Mann along with his government team, comprising senior state officials, to attract business and investment to Punjab.
