    Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann Visits Fortis Hospital to Check on Singer Rajvir Jawanda’s Condition

    Mohali: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann visited Fortis Hospital in Mohali on Sunday to inquire about the health of renowned Punjabi singer Rajvir Jawanda, who is in critical condition following a severe motorcycle accident near Baddi in Himachal Pradesh.

    Singer in Critical Condition

    The 35-year-old singer sustained serious head and spine injuries in the accident and is currently on ventilator support. He is being closely monitored by a multidisciplinary team of Neurosurgery and Critical Care specialists at Fortis Hospital.

    Accident Details

    According to police reports, Rajvir’s motorcycle collided with stray cattle on the road, causing the crash. The accident affected multiple organs initially, and he required four life-support systems. As of now, he is sustained by one ventilator, indicating slight improvement.

    Rajvir Jawanda: Career and Personal Life

    Rajvir is known for hit songs such as “Surname,” “Kamla,” and “Sardari”, and has acted in Punjabi films including “Jind Jaan” and “Kaka Ji”. A resident of Sector 71, Mohali, he is married and an avid biker. Originally aspiring to join the police, he instead pursued music and acting.

    He commands a large fan base with nearly a million YouTube subscribers and two million Instagram followers. Just a day before the accident, he had posted a video featuring his song “Tu Dis Painda.”

    CM Mann Meets Family and Medical Team

    During his visit, CM Mann met with Rajvir’s family and the doctors overseeing his treatment. He noted that although Rajvir remains unconscious, there have been signs of improvement compared to the previous day. Doctors are consulting with specialists from PGI and other institutions to provide the best care.

    Appeal to Public

    The Chief Minister urged the public to support Rajvir’s family and avoid spreading false rumors or misinformation that could cause additional distress. He assured that official medical updates and authentic photos will be regularly released to keep everyone informed.
