Chandigarh: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann’s wife, Dr Gurpreet Kaur Mann, has reportedly sent a legal notice to retired Justice Ranjit Singh, who is the brother-in-law of Congress MLA Sukhpal Singh Khaira over allegations that she allegedly demanded a ₹5 crore kickback.
According to the notice, Ranjit Singh has been asked to tender an apology within 24 hours over alleged defamatory remarks.
The notice reportedly states that failure to issue an apology within the stipulated 24-hour period could lead to further legal action against the retired judge.
Dr Gurpreet Kaur Mann has sought an apology from Ranjit Singh, alleging that his remarks were defamatory.
