Punjab Govt declares Winter Vacation in all Schools

Chandigarh: view of the chilling winter season, Punjab Government has announced winter vacation in all schools of Punjab. Holidays have been declared from December 24 to December 31 in all government, private aided, and recognized schools of Punjab. These orders have been issued after the approval of Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains.

The decision has been taken because of security of the school going children and the staff. Due to the cold situation that is now occurring throughout the state, the winter break may be extended.
