Chandigarh: Government in Punjab on Monday withdraws land pooling policy.
Reports reaching the Savera Times said that the land pooling policy has been withdrawn after facing criticism for several political parties and farmers in the state.
According to the letter issued by the government reads, “Government hereby withdraws the land pooling police dates 14-05-2025 and its subsequent amendments. Consequently, all actions like LOI’s issued, registration done or any other action taken thereunder shall be reversed henceforth.”
Earlier Punjab and Haryana high court stayed on land pooling policy last week.
