Punjab Inspector Found Dead in Haryana Car Mystery

Dabwali, Sirsa: In the Sirsa district of Haryana, the body of an inspector from the Punjab Excise Department was found lying inside a car. The vehicle was parked along the highway on the Amritsar-Jamnagar Bharatmala Road, near Dabwali.

When no movement was observed inside the car for a considerable period, locals approached the vehicle to investigate; they discovered the inspector wedged between the two front seats. His seatbelt was fastened tightly across his abdomen. A service pistol was also found lying nearby.

Currently, the police have taken custody of the body and sent it for a post-mortem examination. Additionally, they have seized the inspector’s pistol and initiated an investigation into the matter. Investigators are currently analyzing call records and other details to determine the circumstances under which the inspector reached this location. Information is also being gathered from the Excise Department.

Family Expresses Suspicion: How Did He Reach Dabwali?

Family members have expressed doubts regarding how Karamjit managed to reach Dabwali. The family points out that the distance between Moga and Dabwali is approximately 200 kilometers. Given this, they argue that it would have been impossible for him to travel there alone, nor did he provide any prior intimation of his plans. It was revealed that the deceased is survived by two sons. The family remains stunned by this tragic incident.

Police Suspect Heart Attack; Body Sent for Post-Mortem

ASI Sukhdev Singh of the City Police Station stated that preliminary investigations suggest the cause of death was a heart attack. The body has been placed in the mortuary at the Civil Hospital pending a post-mortem examination. The actual circumstances surrounding the death will become clear only after the post-mortem report is received. Further action will be taken based on the statements provided by the family members.
