Punjab Mad Sandhu Murder Case: Gujarat Police Arrest Three More Accused

Ahmedabad/Valsad: The Gujarat Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) and the Valsad Special Operations Group (SOG) have arrested three accused in the murder case of social media influencer and makeup artist Madhu Sudan Singh alias Mad Sandhu in Amritsar, Punjab. Mad Sandhu was shot dead earlier this month. During the joint operation, the three accused were apprehended from Vapi in Gujarat’s Valsad district.

The accused have been identified as Harsimranjit Singh alias Simu Singa, Fateh Singh, and Arman Singh. According to the Gujarat ATS, all three are residents of Sange village, which falls under the Sadar police station area of ​​Tarn Taran district, Punjab.

Shot near a car washing center in Amritsar

According to the Gujarat ATS, Mad Sandhu was shot dead by two unidentified assailants near a car washing center on Lorahka Road in Amritsar on October 3. Following the incident, a case was registered at the Cantonment Police Station in Amritsar City.

Senior officials from Punjab’s Crime Investigation Agency (CIA) shared information related to the case and details of the suspects with the Gujarat ATS. Following the instructions of the senior officers, the Gujarat ATS initiated an investigation.

The investigation was conducted under the supervision of Superintendent of Police (SP) K. Siddharth. Deputy Superintendent of Police (DySP) Harsh Upadhyay and Police Inspector Kripesh Patel played a key role.

Joint action taken on information about their hiding in Vapi

During the investigation, it was discovered that the three accused allegedly involved in the murder case were present in Vapi. There was a fear that they might escape from there. Following this, the Gujarat ATS shared their identities, locations, and other vital information with the Valsad Special Operations Group (SOG).

Police Inspector D.D. Parmar and his team took action and detained the three accused in Vapi. Subsequently, a team comprising Police Inspector J.N. Chavda, Sub-Inspectors M.L. Solanki, K.R. Patel, V.B. Khant, and other police officers brought them to the Gujarat ATS office for questioning.

According to the ATS, during the interrogation, investigators gathered information about the accused’s alleged role in the murder, the reconnaissance conducted before the shooting, and other aspects of the case.

Punjab Police Takes the Accused Away

The Gujarat ATS informed the Punjab Police about the detention of the three accused. Following this, on October 10, a team from the Punjab Police arrived at the Gujarat ATS office, took the three accused into custody, and departed for Punjab for further legal proceedings.

The Punjab Police is now investigating this murder.

Earlier, on October 8, the Ahmedabad Crime Branch, based on inputs from the Amritsar police, arrested Parminder Prasad, alias Parminder Kaka, from the Vadaj area of ​​Ahmedabad. He is alleged to be the main shooter in the case.

According to Crime Branch officials, Parminder allegedly fired shots at Mad Sandhu and also arranged the motorcycle used in the crime. Following this, the Punjab Police took him to Amritsar for further investigation.

Investigators are also investigating the possibility of the murder having links to the network of gangster Goldy Dhillon, who is active abroad.
