Punjab Weather: Night temperature soars, Western disturbance to affect high altitude areas

Punjab’s temperature remained unchanged during the day on Monday, but the heat from firecrackers sent the state’s mercury soaring at night. The temperature increased by 1.3 degrees on Tuesday morning, and the night temperature was subsequently recorded at 2.3 degrees above normal.

According to the Meteorological Center, a new Western Disturbance is becoming active. However, its impact will be limited to the higher mountainous regions. However, a slight change in the weather is expected in the coming days. Night temperatures may drop by up to 2 degrees in many areas of the state in the next four to five days.

According to the Meteorological Center, Punjab’s average maximum temperature increased by 0.2 degrees. Bathinda’s temperature crossed 35 degrees on Tuesday evening, reaching 35.5 degrees. The minimum temperature dropped by 0.1 degrees, remaining close to normal. The lowest temperature was recorded at Sri Anandpur Sahib at 14.9 degrees.

A slight increase in cold will begin.
According to the Meteorological Center, there is no significant change in temperatures yet. However, a slight decrease in nighttime temperatures will be observed. Temperatures are expected to drop by 4 degrees in the next four days, after which a slight increase in cold will occur in the morning and evening.

The Western Disturbance will not affect Punjab. The weather is expected to remain dry in the state until October 26th, and there is little chance of rain.
