Simranjit Singh Mann’s SAD (Amritsar) gets show cause notice from Punjab CEO, not submitted annual audited accounts of past years

Chief Election Officer, Punjab, has issued another “Show Cause Notice” to Registered Unrecognized Political Parties (RUPPs), which are facing delisting in Punjab. The notice has been issued to a total 11 parties, which also includes Simranjit Singh Mann’s Shiromani Akali Dal Amritsar. It is said that the parties facing delisting have not submitted their annual audited reports for the last few years.

CEO has directed them to submit written representations by 10 Oct 2025, while the hearing for these parties has been scheduled for 17 Oct 2025.
