Who is the accused and what was the matter?

According to the police, accused Kawaljit Singh along with his accomplice opened fire on a shop in Batala. The firing took place when they demanded a ransom of Rs 2 crore in the name of gangster Nishan Joriyan.

Further investigation underway

The police said that further investigation is being conducted to identify other individuals and the network behind this ransom conspiracy.
