Punjab Police foils major terror plot in Batala, Recovers grenades and IEDs

Batala, August 25: Punjab Police has achieved a major success by foiling a major terrorist plot from Batala. During the operation, the police have recovered four hand grenades (SPL HGR-84), two kg RDX based IED and communication equipment.

Investigation has revealed that the entire incident was being planned by Britain-based Babbar Khalsa International (BKI) terrorist Nishan Singh alias Nishan Jodia.

In a major breakthrough, @BatalaPolice foils a terror module with the recovery of 4 hand grenades (SPL HGR-84), 1 RDX-based IED (2kg), and communication equipment from village Balpura, #Batala.

Pakistan-based ISI-backed terrorist Harvinder Singh Rinda is said to be behind this. Punjab DGP Gaurav Yadav said that after the recovery, Batala police is investigating the matter thoroughly.

It has become clear from this action that the terrorist organization was planning to carry out a major incident in Punjab, but due to the vigilance of the police it was foiled in time.
