According to data recorded at 6 am on September 22, 2025, the water level at Pong Dam in Himachal Pradesh was recorded at 1391.84 feet. At this time, 17,786 cusecs of water was being inflowed into the dam, while 55,134 cusecs of water were being outflowed. On the same day and time, the water level at Bhakra Dam was 1677.07 feet. 36,637 cusecs of water were inflowed into it, and 45,000 cusecs of water were released.

No rain expected for 7 days, weather to remain dry

With the withdrawal of the monsoon, the coming days in the state are expected to be dry. According to the Meteorological Department, there is no rain forecast anywhere in the state for the next 7 days. The state has also been dry for the past few days, resulting in a dry weather, resulting in a slight increase in temperatures.

Day temperatures remain near normal, while nights are cool. The highest temperature in the state was recorded at 36.8 degrees in Samrala, Ludhiana. Furthermore, Amritsar recorded 34.8 degrees, Ludhiana 35 degrees, Patiala 35.4 degrees, Pathankot 34.7 degrees, and Bathinda 36.6 degrees.
