Punjab Weather Update: Maximum temp increases; morning-evening remains chill

The weather has changed in Punjab and Chandigarh. While mornings and evenings have begun to feel mildly cold, the days are warm. The state’s average maximum temperature has increased by 0.1 degrees in the last 24 hours, now approaching the average maximum temperature. Bathinda has been the hottest.

The highest temperature of 35.4 degrees was recorded in Bathinda. Starting today (Thursday), the timings of government hospitals have also changed. OPD hours in hospitals and dispensaries will be from 9 am to 3 pm, up from 8 am to 2 pm previously.

No Rain Expected Until Diwali

According to the Meteorological Department, the weather is expected to remain dry until October 21st, i.e., Diwali. There is no alert for rain or thunderstorms. The temperature will not change significantly, but only slightly. Meanwhile, health experts believe that focusing on health is essential during this time, as health conditions can be debilitating.
