Monsoon to withdraw from Punjab in 24 hours; No rain alert in state

The monsoon is now retreating from Punjab. Conditions are favorable for the monsoon’s withdrawal in the next 24 hours. Chandigarh Meteorological Department officials say that during this period, the monsoon will retreat from several states, including Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, and Haryana.

There is no possibility of rain in the state until September 29th. The weather will remain completely clear. The state’s temperature has increased by 0.2 degrees in the last 24 hours, which is 1.9 degrees higher than the average maximum temperature. The highest temperature in the state, 37 degrees, was recorded in Abohar.

Night temperatures are now falling

The day temperature is rising in Punjab, while nighttime temperature is decreasing in some districts. The average maximum daytime temperature in all districts of the state has reached between 33 and 37 degrees. Temperatures in districts bordering Himachal are also high.

Amritsar recorded 34.9 degrees Celsius, Pathankot 34.3 degrees Celsius, Ropar 33.5 degrees Celsius, and Chandigarh reached 35 degrees Celsius. Amritsar recorded a minimum temperature of 24.9 degrees Celsius, a drop of 0.8 degrees Celsius. Ludhiana recorded a drop of 0.6 degrees Celsius, settling at 25.2 degrees Celsius. Patiala recorded a drop of 0.5 degrees Celsius, settling at 25.4 degrees Celsius.
