Punjab Weather Update: Heatwave intensifies after monsoon’s departure

Since the monsoon’s departure, Punjab has experienced dry weather, with temperatures rising. Rain is not expected for the next week. Temperatures will rise by up to 2 degrees for the next three days, but will then steadily decline.

According to the Meteorological Department (IMD), the state’s average temperature was 1.8 degrees above normal. Mansa recorded a temperature of 37.2 degrees. The state’s minimum temperature also remained 3 degrees above normal, with night temperatures ranging between 22 and 25 degrees.

According to the Meteorological Department, temperatures are currently rising, but there will be some relief in the coming days. After September 29th, temperatures will gradually drop, providing relief from the heat.

At present, the humidity in the atmosphere has decreased, providing relief from the sticky heat.
