Punjab Weather Update: Monsoon stuck in Bathinda-Fazilka region; relief from heat and humidity

The monsoon has been stuck in the Bathinda-Fazilka region of Punjab for five days. It is estimated that the monsoon will completely withdraw from Punjab in the coming days. Meanwhile, changes are being observed in the weather in Punjab during this period. Nights are becoming warmer, but daytime temperatures remain close to normal.

The approximately five-day delay in the monsoon’s return is also causing significant changes in the weather. According to the Meteorological Department (IMD), night temperatures in Punjab are continuously increasing and remain approximately 3 degrees above normal. This means that nights in Punjab are warmer than normal.

At the same time, there is no significant change in the maximum daytime temperature. In the last 24 hours, the temperature has increased by 0.2 degrees. This temperature remains close to normal.

The weather will remain dry, no rain expected

The weather is expected to remain dry for the next seven days. The Meteorological Department has not issued any rain alert for any district. Due to this, a decrease in humidity is being observed in the temperature. This change in weather is expected to bring relief from the sticky heat.

There will be no significant change in the temperature, and the maximum temperature is expected to remain close to normal.
