This entire action was taken by Vadodara Railway Police of Gujarat on the basis of confirmation from the Joint Gau Raksha Dal Punjab and FSL. In which 16 boxes of beef were seized.

This major operation started when Gurpreet Singh, head of the United Gau Raksha Dal Punjab, informed Neha Patel, active in Vadodara, that beef was being sent in several boxes in the last coach of the Golden Temple train.

On this information, Neha Patel immediately informed Kaushal Gondalia of D Staff. After which, on April 30, the team seized 16 boxes of meat from the train.

The door opened after 20 minutes of effort

The railway police acted swiftly and decided to search the train compartment, but the compartment door would not open. The police team adopted a strict stance and said, “The door has to be opened first; there will be an investigation.” After about 20 minutes of effort, the door was opened, and all the boxes kept inside were taken out. The fears deepened due to the foul smell coming from there.

To strengthen the case, samples were sent to the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL). The report that came on Saturday made it clear that the meat seized was of cow. This has made the matter serious both in terms of religious sentiments and the law. After which the local police has registered an FIR under section 325 of the Indian Penal Code (BNS) and the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act.

According to the information, Vijay Singh, a resident of Amritsar, Punjab, had sent this consignment of beef to Jafar Shabbir, a resident of Mumbai Central. Not only this, Vijay had booked this consignment by calling it chicken. Now legal action and investigation have been intensified in this case.
