The police have kept the body of the deceased in the mortuary for postmortem. Police say that appropriate action has been taken based on the statements of the family members.
According to the information, the 17-year-old minor girl was a 12th-grade student in a private school in Abohar. It is being told that the student had typhoid a few days ago. Due to this, she was upset and in a state of illness; she swallowed some wrong medicine yesterday. Due to this, her condition worsened. On which the family took her to Bathinda for treatment. She died this morning.
Regarding the case, Bahawalwala Police Station in-charge Sunil Kumar said that acting on the statements of the family members under 194 BNS, the body of the deceased has been kept for post-mortem.
