Tarn Taran: A 15-year-old student of class 11, Harleen Kaur, collapsed and died suddenly of a heart attack while running on the school grounds at Baba Deep Singh Public School in Dehra Sahib, located in the Tarn Taran district. The incident was captured by the school’s CCTV cameras.
Harleen, a resident of village Rahl Chahal, started running to lose weight on the advice of her parents. She had completed just one lap around the field when she unexpectedly fell to the ground. School owner Gurpartap Singh Pannu rushed her to a nearby hospital in his car, where doctors pronounced her dead.
Harleen was pursuing her studies in Arts and was dropped off at school by her older brother shortly before the tragic event. She was laid to rest today in her village of Rahl Chahal.
