Amritsar: A shocking incident came into light from Ajnala, Amritsar. Shots were fired at a cloth merchant in their shop. The matter is being told to be related to the old rivalry of the merchant. The attackers reached the merchant’s shop and opened fire, in which the merchant’s 2 brothers were injured. Both have been admitted to a private hospital for treatment.
Rajinder Kumar told that his family runs a shop named Amit Cloth House. There was already a dispute over money transactions, which was resolved two months ago. But on Thursday suddenly some attackers reached the shop and started firing indiscriminately.
In this attack, his brothers Vijay Kumar and Sunil Kumar were shot. As soon as the incident was reported, DSP Ajnala Gurinder Singh reached the spot with the police force. He said that in the initial investigation, this case seems to be of money transactions and old rivalry. The police have started investigation by recording the statements of the injured.
Police engaged in investigation
Rajinder Kumar said that we had already ended the dispute, but some people did not want to end it. He suspects that this is why he was attacked. Now we hope for justice from the police. DSP Ajnala Gurinder Singh said that the injured are undergoing treatment. The police is investigating the case from every angle and soon the culprits will be arrested.
