Chandigarh: The Meteorological Department has predicted fog in some areas of Punjab and Chandigarh this morning. But soon the area will be cloudy and there will be chances of rain. There is no change in the average maximum temperature as compared to yesterday. The highest maximum temperature in the state was recorded at 23.2 degrees Celsius, which was in Bathinda. Today, light fog can be seen in all the districts of Punjab.
However, no alert has been issued by the Meteorological Department. At the same time, it is also expected to be cloudy today. After which heat lock conditions will be created, there will be a slight increase in night temperature. But after December 12, the temperature is expected to drop by 2 to 3 degrees.
Western disturbance also became active
According to the Meteorological Center, a western disturbance has become active towards Iran. According to Uman Shankar Das of the Center, as soon as the western disturbance collides with the moisture coming from East Asia, North India will be cloudy and there are chances of rain on 11-12 December. During this time people will also get relief from fog.
