Chandigarh: The Meteorological Department has predicted fog in some areas of Punjab and Chandigarh this morning. But soon the area will be cloudy and there will be chances of rain. There is no change in the average maximum temperature as compared to yesterday. The highest maximum temperature in the state was recorded at 23.2 degrees.
IMD in its weather prediction said that southwest monsoon has covered entire country and isolated heavy rainfall is likely in different parts of the country.
