Punjab: A 21-year-old girl riding a scooter died on the spot after being hit by a truck in Dasuha, Hoshiarpur. This accident happened right in front of the Dasuha bus stand. It is being told that the girl riding a scooty was going to work at her salon.
Then a truck coming from the front hit her. After which the girl came under the truck’s tyre. After which she died on the spot. After the information, the police reached the spot and took the body in their possession and sent it for post-mortem.
The deceased has been identified as 21-year-old Ankita, a resident of Babbowal village in Hajipur police station area. Who used to work in a salon in Dasuha. This morning she left on her scooty to go to the salon.
As soon as she was passing in front of the bus stand, a truck coming from the front hit her.
After the collision, Ankit came under the truck’s tyre. She died on the spot as the truck’s tyre fell on her. The police reached the spot and started investigating the case.
Giving information in this regard, investigating officer ASI Mahinder Singh said that a girl was going on a scooty. She died on the spot due to the collision with the truck. He said that the body of the deceased has been kept in Dasua’s civil hospital and the family members of the deceased have been informed. He said that action will be taken in this case only on the basis of the complaint of the family members.
