A case of disappearance of a 26-year-old girl under mysterious circumstances has come to light from Azad Road Regarpura area under Chheharta police station in Amritsar. It is being said that the missing Sonali works in a salon and her salon is in Chheharta Bazaar.
Sonali’s sister Sonam, a resident of Regarpura, said that on April 16, at around 7:30 pm, Sonali was returning home from her salon located in Chheharta Bazaar, but did not reach home. She said that when Sonali did not return home for a long time and they went to the shop to search for her, they came to know that Sonali had gone home on time like every day. When they checked the CCTV cameras installed nearby, Sonali was seen walking to Chheharta Chowk but after that no trace of her was found.
Sonam said that she has filed a complaint with the Chheharta police in this regard, but the police are also being lax so far. If the police had worked diligently, her sister Sonali would have been with the family. She also said that Sonali had a fight with a girl working in her salon, after which Sonali had thrown her out of the salon. When her phone was checked, it was found that Sonali had received calls from the same girl’s house.
Meanwhile, the police officer said that a girl named Sonali, who runs a salon in Chheharta market, has gone missing. We have checked the nearby CCTV cameras and are trying to find out. However, the allegations being made by the family are all baseless.
