3 associates of UK-based gangster arrested by Amritsar rural police, arms and ammunition recovered

In a major breakthrough against terrorist networks, Amritsar Rural Police has arrested UK-based gangster Dharampreet Singh alias Dharma Sandhu and three associates (Vijay Masih, Agrej Singh, and Iqbal Singh, residents of Tarn Taran) belonging to Jassa Patti. The information was shared by Punjab DGP Gaurav Yadav through a post on X.

In this operation, police recovered 3 Glock pistols, 3 Beretta 30 bore pistols, 20 live cartridges (9mm), 20 live cartridges (30 bore), 4 mobile phones and 1 Activa scooter from the arrested accused.

Preliminary investigation has revealed that all three accused were in active contact with international criminal syndicates and are involved in illegal arms activities.

As per police, an FIR has been registered at Police Station Lopoke. Further investigation is underway to expose the entire network.

Police assured that the Punjab Police is committed to eliminating organised crime and ensuring public safety.
