Goa: In the 37th National games that are going on in Goa, Players from Punjab have performed exceptionally well in the sport Pencak Sialt. In this sport, players from the state have won overall 9 medals across all categories in which 5 medals are won by boys whereas rest are bagged by Girls.
Providing details of the medal winners, Coaches of Pencak Sialt Gurvinder Singh, Arvinder Kumar and Parvinder Kumar told about the details of all the medal holders in the games. Among boys in a solo event, Aryan got gold medal whereas in Regu Women’s Team event, Manpreet Kaur and Sunita Rani won bronze medal.
Among different categories, silver medal was bagged by Simran, Loveneet, Akashdeep, Navpreet and Baljeet Kaur whereas bronze medal was bagged by Sonia and Suraj.
Coaches of the event thanked Guru Nanak Dev university for providing space to the players for practicing.
