In a major reshuffle of the police personnel within Commissionerate Ludhiana, The Commissioner of Police Kuldeep Singh Chahal, on Monday, had transferred a total of 76 personnel.
These include personnel from different ranks including Inspector, Sub Inspector, Assistant Sub Inspectors, Head Constables and Constables.
As per the orders Inspector Sandeep Kaur has been transferred from police lines to in-charge Civil Suit Branch CPO Ludhiana, Inspector Paramveer Singh has been now deputed as In-charge Litigation Cell CPO Ludhiana. He will be replaced by Inspector Rajesh Thakur who has been deputed as In-charge Sec. Duty Court Complex Ludhiana with additional role as Special Police Officer regarding implementation of victim care and support system in Commissionerate Ludhiana. Inspector Kulwant Singh has been transferred to the police lines. He was currently serving as in-charge E.O Wing with additional charge of Special Branch Ludhiana. Inspector Kulwant will be replaced by Inspector Paramdeep Singh.
Besides, 71 more personnel have been reshuffled. According to the officer, the transfers and posting have been made on administrative grounds.
