7 month old girl stolen from Ludhiana railway station

The family had returned after visiting Vaishno Devi and slept on the platform overnight due to security reasons.

Ludhiana: A 7-month-old girl was stolen from the railway station in Ludhiana, the city of Minister of State for Railways Ravneet Bittu. The girl’s name is Khushi Patel. The child’s family and the entire family had returned from Mata Vaishno Devi last night, and the family slept at the station at night. On Sunday morning, when they woke up, they saw that the girl was missing. Despite searching for a long time, the police station was informed after the girl was not found. The police have formed teams to search for the girl and have started searching in the city and surrounding areas.

The girl’s father, Chandan Kumar, a resident of village Kaka, district Ludhiana, said that he had gone to Mata Vaishno Devi with his family. He returned to Ludhiana by the Hemkunt Express train around 2 o’clock last night. He has three children, and his relatives were also with him. 10–12 people had returned together.

Chandan Kumar said that after reaching the railway station at 2 a.m., he and many of his family members were very tired. They slept overnight at the station for security reasons. They had to go to their village in the morning. The mother of the child, Khushi Patel, fed her milk, laid down, and fell asleep. Everyone had fallen asleep. The child was lying in the middle with her mother.

Chandan Kumar said that today at 5 a.m., when the cleaner woke him up on the platform of the station, he woke up. When he looked, the child was missing. Her mother had made the child lie down in the middle with her.

Chandan Kumar and his family members searched for the child a lot, and later GRP was informed.
