AAP appoints Manish Sisodia as Punjab in-charge, Satyendar Jain as co in-charge

Manish Sisodia has replaced Sandeep Pathak

Chandigarh: In a big organisational change in Aam Aadmi Party after Delhi poll debacle, former Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia has been made in charge of Punjab AAP. Apart from him, Satyendar Jain has been appointed as co-incharge of Punjab along with Sisodia. Manish Sisodia has replaced Sandeep Pathak. Pathak, who held the post has been shifted to Chhattisgarh and appointed as the state’s in-charge.

 

Major changes in the structure of party have been made during the AAP PAC meeting. After meeting, Sandeep Pathak addressed the media about the various decisions.

Sandeep Pathak said, “Today, various decisions were taken in the party’s Political Affairs Committee meeting…Gopal Rai has been made in charge of Gujarat. Pankaj Gupta has been made in charge of Goa…Manish Sisodia has been made in charge of Punjab and I have been made in charge of Chhattisgarh. Saurabh Bharadwaj has been appointed as the chief of the party’s Delhi unit and Mehraj Malik has been appointed as the chief of the party’s J&K unit.”

After his appointment as Punjab in-charge, Manish Sisodia expressed his happiness and addressed the media. Talking about developmental work carried out by AAP in Punjab he said that government will continue to work for the welfare of the people of Punjab. He said, “There has been a lot of development in Punjab after the formation of our government in the state…The AAP government will continue to work for the welfare of the people of Punjab and will ensure that every dedicated worker of the AAP feels proud to be a part of the party…The people of Punjab respect Arvind Kejriwal and Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann a lot…”
