New Delhi: Today two key members of INDIA alliance, Aam Aadmi Party and Congress Party sealed the deal for upcoming Lok Sabha Elections.
AAP and Congress together in a joint conference announced the seat sharing for states Gujarat, Haryana, Punjab, Goa and Union territories Chandigarh and Delhi. Though in all states, both parties have shared the seats but in Punjab, both parties will contest independently.
AAP Rajya Sabha MP Sandeep Pathak said that Both AAP and Congress have come together keeping in mind the interest of the nation. On contesting election independently in Punjab, Sandeep Pathak said that every state is different from each other in many terms and strategy is made by keeping all these points in mind. He added that INDIA alliance was made to make INDIA win, the people of India Win.
While addressing the media, Sandeep Pathak said “the manner in which the BJP Government is finishing all institutions one by one, the elections are being ‘stolen’ and Opposition leaders are being put in jail to win elections, the manner in which injustice is being done with farmers, the manner in which people of the country are suffering through unemployment and inflation…the country needs an honest and strong alternate.”
He said that both AAP and Congress party have come together in alliance for the interest of country. He emphasised on fact that Congress and AAP will contest from the designated seats but in the end, INMDIA will win the election.
