Aam Aadmi Party has declared Rajya Sabha MP Sanjeev Arora as the candidate for the Ludhiana West Assembly bypoll. The information was shared by AAP Punjab on its X handle. AAP said, “Aam Aadmi Party has announced Mr. Sanjeev Arora as its candidate for the Ludhiana West by-election.” By-election will be held for the Ludhiana West seat after the death of MLA Gurpreet Gogi.
With Rajya Sabha MP coming into state politics, it is speculated that AAP is trying to pave way for party supremo Arvind Kejriwal to Rajya Sabha. According to sources, It is said that Arvind Kejriwal can enter Rajya Sabha from Punjab. News is coming that Rajya Sabha MP Punjab Sanjeev Arora will leave his seat to enter Punjab Politics. In his place, Arvind Kejriwal will enter the parliament after Delhi Poll loss. MP Sanjeev Arora is also considered very close to Kejriwal and thus party has taken big decision to bring him in the state’s politics.
