Accident on Ambala-Chandigarh flyover, four youths injured

At around 8 pm on Friday evening, a horrific road accident took place on the Ambala-Chandigarh flyover above Zirakpur bus stand. The accident took place due to a head-on collision between a Pickup 407 truck and a Kia car, injuring four youths.

According to eyewitnesses, the pickup driver crossed the divider and hit the Kia car going from Ambala to Chandigarh. The four youths in the Kia car suffered serious injuries and were rushed to Sector 32 Hospital, Chandigarh for immediate treatment.

The accident caused a major traffic jam on the flyover, and the traffic police and the National Highways Authority of India had to struggle to clear the scene of the incident to clear the traffic. The injured youths are currently undergoing medical treatment, and their condition is said to be stable.

However, the exact cause of the accident is still being investigated by the police, and the police are trying to find out whether the pickup driver was drunk or not.
